U.S. Citizens, Candian Citizens, most European citizens, and citizens from a total of 40 countries will get an automatic 30-day visa on arrival.
According to the Interior Ministerial Announcements dated 1 October B.E. 2545 (2002), 20 December B.E. 2545 (2002), 18 October B.E. 2547 (2004) and 6 May B.E. 2548 (2005), passport holders from 40 countries and 1 special administrative region – Hong Kong SAR – are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom for a period of not exceeding 30 days on each visit.
Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a complete list of countries who are eligible for a 30 day visa-on-arrival on their website .
If people are joining the entire 4 weeks of the TdeT it is likely they will want a 60-day visa that they can obtain from a Thai Visa or consulate before coming.
Riders will also have the option to extend their 30-day visa in Chiang Mai, Bangkok, and Phuket. If participants are coming for extended periods before and after the Tour they can apply for longer a tourist visa or plan a few trips to neighboring countries (Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and others) and they will be granted a new 30-day visa each time they re-enter Thailand (up to 90 days total in the Kingdom out of 180 days consecutive calendar days).
Should you have a complaint whilst on the ride, you must notify your group leader at the earliest opportunity so that they can endeavor to immediately rectify it. Any complaints that cannot be rectified on the trip should be sent to us in writing by email to info@seahillmtb.com not more than 28 days after the ride ends.

By far, the people of Thailand are the friendliest people in the world we have met. An inherent part of Buddhist culture is a sense of 'sanuk', which means fun in Thai, also implying a feeling of togetherness where groups of people are intent on enjoying themselves. In keeping with this outlook, Sea Hill MTB rides are always a fun experience.
But then, five people cycling through one of the world's most beautiful countries can hardly avoid having fun, can they?!
When you choose a Sea Hill MTB ride you are travelling with people who have a strong commitment to their region. We are determined to provide a genuine experience and immerse our clients in every possible cultural aspect of Thailand.
Your guide is devoted not only to making your ride a smooth and trouble-free journey, but also ensuring it is a day to remember.
The best travel experiences can have a rich and rewarding effect on our lives. Detailed planning is crucial to ensure the best experience for your time and money. Sea Hill MTB combine our two great passions - cycling and Thailand - to create a truly great travel experience.
We don't cut corners. We design small group journeys for people who share our passion for the total experience of travelling in Thailand - the food, the natural beauty, the culture and people. Our small group travel is different from the rest because we ensure your trip is a complete and unforgettable experience - and excellent value!

In short yes, twelve-years-old, but we can be flexible if the children are mature and will not spoil the group dynamics. However, we do not have a bike to fit small children.
They can travel in the support vehicle if they so wish**.They too can enjoy the stunning locations we visit. The charge for this is 500 baht to cover the food and drink. ** This is contigent on there being space in the support vehicle. Riding customers have priority and until the day of the ride we will not know if there is a spare place. Please check with your guide upon your collection.
All of the bikes are moderm Trek mountain bikes and are checked before each ride and serviced on a regular basis by Hua Hin local bike shop.

We will have a support vehicle right with us throughout the trips. It is never more than 10 minutes away, and we carry a first aid kit. However, cycling is an active sport and accidents can happen, therefore we suggest you arrange your own insurance, and you will be asked to sign a Release of Liability form at the commencement of the ride.
Yes and No!! Your guide will explain a little of the history of the sites you visit along the route. However, it is NOT a history lecture, it is a cycling trip, so we won't 'bore the pants' off you'! We recommend that if you want to learn about the history of the area in depth that you employ a T.A.T. official guide to accompany you on a different type of trip.
Hopefully, nice people!! We want our tripes to be sociable events. They are not frequented by bike mad people, but outgoing, open-minded active people who want to get as much out of their holidays as possible, and not just 'sit on a beach'.
We have put together a range of rides to suit every kind of cyclist: from off-road mountain biking for the enthusiast, to easy sight seeing for the casual rider. Please refer to the grade guide for further explanation.
As you will be aware, Thailand is generally hot all year around. However most of the cycling on our trips is done on the morning, so it is pretty comfortable. You also get a natural breeze cooling you down. We also stop for regular drink and fruit breaks, and do not 'zoom off' and leave people behind. Rain in Thailand can be very heavy at times. If it is raining the morning of your ride, we will ring you (if I have a number). If not, please ring us to discuss.
No!!
Everything from start to finish of the trip. That includes collection from, and return to your hotel or residence. Your meal and drinks. (with the exception of alcoholic drinks for which we would ask you to pay). The bike, the helmet, all transportation costs and entrance fees or excursions to anywhere included in the itineraries.
